Vita

studied jazz drums at the HfM « Hanns Eisler » Berlin, sound studies at the UdK Berlin and world music/ethnomusicology in New York, Cuba, Spain and Brazil. He has been touring and performing as a professional musician for different styles (from jazz to flamenco to salsa and electronic music) throughout Europe since 2005 and has played with bands such as Jazzanova and Chico Trujillo. He has also produced studio albums/ radio plays for CNEAI and Dlf and composed/arranged for artists/bands such as Mi Solar, Zorka Wollny, Ana Lessing Menjibar and Dota Kehr . He worked as a theatre musician at the Berliner Ensemble from 2014 to 2017 for productions by Robert Wilson and Jean Bellorini and realised sound installations and performances at festivals such as klangstaetten, Fusion, Garbicz, Tanztage and transmediale.
